WHERE TO EAT IN CAMIGUIN ISLAND: Food and Coffee Guide
When I first visited Camiguin Island, I thought about just freediving, waterfalls, and dipping into hot and cold springs. I never thought about where to eat in Camiguin Island as a culinary adventure, as well. So when I visited the second time, I made sure to hop from local favorites that perfectly captured the island’s laid-back life. Camiguin Island has surprised me with flavors that felt both familiar and exciting.
POPULAR RESTAURANTS IN CAMIGUIN ISLAND
Camiguin’s food scene is as diverse as its landscape. Whether you are craving fresh seafood by the lagoon or plant-based goodness in the highlands, here are my top picks:

Their menu is big on Filipino comfort food, and the portions are generous enough to share. It has that friendly, casual vibe where both locals and travelers gather. It’s a great spot to wind down after a day of exploring, especially during sunset.

CAMIGUIN ISLAND COFFEE GUIDE: Where to Find the Best Coffee Shops in Camiguin Island
Of course, I wouldn’t leave a destination without doing a coffee crawl. So in between our drives on the island, we looked and found a few coffee shops—each one with its own personality.
Camiguin Island has good spots for specialty coffee. I had the best time getting a coffee around. These coffee stops became little pauses in my island days in Camiguin.
Here are some of my favorites!
Utopia Café
Enjoy your coffee with a breathtaking view of the White Island at Utopia Café, Quiburo, Mambajao, Camiguin.
Utopia Café is the most well-known coffee shop in Camiguin Island. Every time we ask around about where to get coffee, both locals and tourists always recommend visiting Utopia Cafe.
This spot offers one of the best views of the mountain and the sunset.
Visit in the afternoon and stay until sunset. It has the most breathtaking view of the Camiguin sunset.
Nanaw Café
Located in the highlands of Binunsaran, it’s cooler here! It’s famous for its puto maya and sikwate (hot chocolate), but their coffee is just as comforting with a view of the airport below.
The BeeHive Driftwood Cafe
Located by the beach in Catarman Camiguin, The Beehive Driftwood Cafe serves peace and serenity.
It’s A quirky, rustic space made mostly of driftwood. It’s near the Sunken Cemetery and serves delicious Italian coffee with their signature honeycomb cookies.
Saga Specialty Coffee Camiguin
This is for the true specialty coffee enthusiasts. They use high-quality beans (like Mt. Apo espresso) and have a very chill, modern vibe. Their Horchata is a must-try!
Tres Marias Cafe + Bar
A cozy spot that transitions perfectly from a morning coffee hangout to a chill bar in the evening. Great for meeting fellow travelers.
Camiguin really is more than just its “Island Born of Fire” reputation; it’s a place that feeds the soul and the stomach. Every time I leave, I’m already thinking about the next local roast I’ll try or the next sunset dinner by the sea. I hope this guide helps you find your own favorite flavors on the island.
