Becoming Full-time in Digital: Google Adsense Approved and Reaching Over 5K on Instagram

Becoming full-time in digital isn’t entirely part of my plan when I quit on my corporate job in 2018. More like, I was delayed of an opportunity. 2019 was nothing but a waiting game for me and I thought to myself, “What’s next?” All the things that I do now happened because of an everyday realizations about how to grow professionally knowing the fact that I was at home for over a year already, earning nothing so I know I needed to do something to make use of the Internet and my laptop.

On this piece, I’ll be talking about my small achievements, few things that I’m currently doing as digital freelancer, and a documentation of my social media growth, so that I have something to look back to.

This is going to be an overwhelming post for me since about three months, I have a lot of milestone to celebrate. Without everyone’s unwavering support, I won’t be able to be where I am today and I am honestly beyond grateful for it. laptop and coffee I have been a blogger for the past 8 years but I’m not really making money from it. Also, I’m doing a small-scale graphic design projects to my family and friends that gives me a few cash. So I realized, why not make it as an option to seriously earn money and start digital freelancing? I’ll tell you more about what it is like to be a badass digital freelancer and how I started on a separate post. Some things that I’ll cover:

I have spent countless nights on the first month of 2020 researching and reading to give me a head start on what I’m about to do. February when I created my Facebook page then invested on a self-hosted site to make blogging as a career on the following month. It’s the beginning of quarantine period when I started to work my way up in digital world. I was overwhelmed after learning that there are lots of options to choose from to do online. I know that I’m in the right phase and it’s an amazing choice for me to grow professionally, hopefully expand my network and finally love a job that I do. RELATED ARTICLE

I haven’t still promoted it much on social media because I’m still working on its rebrand after having it registered with the Department of Trade and Industry. This studio has really pulled me up financially that’s why I have been working really hard for its growth. I am greatly blessed to have loyal clients that keep the business going. Currently, I’m revamping a school website—developing it to run as a more responsive e-learning site as part of their preparation to the new normal. Also, I have few branding projects mostly for online sellers and some digital & print graphic layouts here and there. mkstudio In line with this, I have been planning to sell graphic templates for bloggers and other freelancers, ready to use logo brands, and Lightroom presets that will be available soon for download on my blog. Social Media Growth Documentation

I wanted to document this growth so that I have something to look back to and remind myself of the hardwork I put into this. fb page Facebook Page. I know it’s not much but I feel like, this is a start of something bigger. Last month, I started posting 3-minute snippet videos about my life. This a random way of slowly introducing myself to my followers and to sustain the page that I haven’t figured out how to work out just yet. youtube header Youtube Channel. My channel was created July 2019 when I had a really bad chickenpox. I used it as an outlet to spread awareness to adults about this virus recurring even though you had it when you were still a kid. I had about 30 subscribers since I created it. May 2020, I have finally included it on promotion and increased around 60%. Still not much, but I am super thankful and I will be working on it more. pinterest Pinterest. I am still surprise on how Pinterest can really drive traffic to your blog. I’m not consistent on creating new pins, though that’s why it has a slow increase. But having 300+ monthly views and a few clicks & impressions for almost two months, I realized that I really needed to have a more organized social media schedule and give priority on my pins to grow traffic on my blog. iphone hd Reaching over 5k Followers on Instagram. Personally, I think Instagram is by far the most intimidating platform there is. It could either break you or make you as a blogger/influencer/freelancer/youtuber and so much more. That’s why today, it becomes very controversial in terms of audience growth.

adsense Google Adsense approved my 2-month old blog for monetization. Not everyone get so lucky to be approved easily especially for new bloggers on this platform like me. This is perhaps one of my greatest digital achievement this year.

    Congratulations on your Instagram growth and Adsense Appoval. I was approved by adsense but I removed it because it makes my blog so slow. But I am thinking of putting back the ads…to see how it’s gonna work this time! Keep it up!
