Discovering more tourist spots in my home province day by day is beyond amazing and I have challenged myself to visit more destinations as I can. Having 25 municipalities and 2 cities, I have finally crossed out on my checklist the Municipality of Tampilisan as I visited a flourishing resort and restaurant attop mountain, the Sundance Resort and Restaurant.
About Sundance Resort and Restaurant
Apart from having five (5) swimming pools in all age groups and three water slides, the Sundance Resort and Restaurant in Camul Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte occupies 54 hectares within the abundance of the trees and features a vast flower garden where you can immersed yourself with nature, inhale fresh air and enjoy a wide varieties of flowers.
How To Get There
The Municipality of Tampilisan is 152 kilometers away from Dipolog City and the quickest way takes just two and a half hours to travel. You can directly get off at Sundance Resort and Restaurant since it’s just located on the right side of the highway road of Barangay Camul, Tampilisan.
By Bus
Coming from Dipolog City, take a Rural Bus at the Dipolog City Integrated Terminal route to Ipil or Zamboanga City and get off directly at Sundance Resort and Restaurant as it is located just beside the highway road. Commute travel will take up to almost 3 hours and fare is Php220.
By Private Vehicle
Riding a private vehicle can be less-hassle and takes a lesser hours of travel. Still coming from Dipolog City, it’s a 2hour travel time. Just 10minute away from Barangay Poblacion, you’d easily reach this beautiful mountain resort.

With five swimming pools and water slides, your trip to Sundance Resort and Restaurant will have you totally refreshed. In this resort, there’s a little something for everybody– water activities in all age groups that you can indulge yourself into. Check out their amazing waterslides and pool!
The 5ft Executive Pool
Although this isn’t exclusive for executive accommodation, you can spend less and experience more in this 5feet deep swimming pool just outside of their executive room accommodations. Strictly no diving in this area and no children allowed.
The 3ft Kids-at-Heart Pool
Fronting just outside the Sundance Café is this 3ft swimming pool with a tunnel slide and overhead water bucket that kids & kids at heart can take pleasure in.
The 1ft Kiddie Pool
As I have mentioned, Sundance Resort and Restaurant can be enjoyed by all age groups. This pool is 1ft deep that small children even adults who can’t swim would definitely love. There are big rainbow hoops and a seesaw that you can play with.
The 3ft Island Pool
Can’t get enough with just a few slides? Here’s a bigger 3ft deep swimming pool that has water slides, a curve tunnel, two overhead water buckets while enjoying the water rippled like you’re experiencing a beach waves.
The 5ft Adults Only Pool
Hey wait, there’s more! You also need to experience the two big loops of waterslides and a double wave slides. I could never describe it to you enough on how amazing the water experience in Sundance Resort and Restaurant is. So, you have to experience it yourself.

At first, sabi ko okayyyy like the others it’s nice and clean resort, there’s also a landscape. What out stand is the lush feels, the trees, it’s really healthy. And then there comes the Edna’s Botanical Garden, which is undeniably Instagrammable. Lovin’ the place here, worth to share.
