You donโt need a degree in computer science or a massive budget to build a space that looks professional and feels like you.

Understanding these three terms is the first step to being organized.
- The Niche: This is your topic (e.g., Travel, Fitness, or Freelancing).
- The Blog Name (Domain): This is your web address (e.g., misskhae.com).
- The Blog Title: What appears at the top of your site (e.g., Misskhae: A Filipino Female Travel Blogger).
Tips for Picking a Great Name
Keep it short: Shorter is easier to remember.

Personal Branding: If you have many interests, use your name! I created โMisskhaeโ as a variation of my name. It followed me from my days as a DJ and model into my life today as a v/blogger. Itโs a brand people remember.

This is where most beginners make a mistake. If you want to be professional, you need WordPress. But be carefulโthere are two versions:

- WordPress.org (The Professional Version): Like owning the house. Itโs โself-hosted,โ meaning you have total control, infinite design options, and full monetization rights.
My Advice: If youโre serious about your brand, go with WordPress.org. Youโll never outgrow it.

I started a blog when I was 16. I stopped because I got discouraged. So a little about myself, I came from an all girls school. It’s not as scary as what the movies make them appear but it’s a very competitive environment. I grew up in that. I started blogging way back when I was in highschool. I was using Multiply.com and Xanga.com both are free flatforms and are now part of the internet history. I moved to blogger recenttly but I encountered an error each time I upload my photos and videos. I tried to fix it but a lot of my friends from the blogging world encouraged me to switch to wordpress and that was the best decision ever.
