WHERE TO EAT IN DIPOLOG CITY: Best Restaurants and Local Food Spots

If you’re wondering where to eat in Dipolog City, you’re definitely in for a treat. As someone who grew up here and keeps coming back home between travels, I’ve built quite a long list of favorite restaurants, cafes, and local food spots over the years.

Dipolog City is known for its fresh seafood and is home to the famous Montaño sardines, a local product that can now be found in major supermarkets across the Philippines. But if there’s one thing I always recommend to first-time visitors, it’s Dipolog’s barbecue. Not to be biased, but I genuinely think Dipolog serves some of the most delicious barbecue in the country. The city has also developed a promising coffee culture, with new cafes and specialty coffee shops opening in recent years.

  1. Yes! May easy way na to order food thru Food Panda. Convenient and wala ng hussle lalo if ayaw mo lumabas ng bahay.

  2. I’ve been using FoodPanda for months now. If I recall correctly, it was the first food delivery service to educate its users on contactless delivery.

  3. Nakakatuwa naman ito cause people there will have more accessibility to their food cravings without going out, plus big help rin ito for the restos. I do wish na maging mas maayos ang service ng foodpqnda though cause I struck out 5x on their service, laging macacancel order ko tapos walang pasintabi na nacancel na hehehe…

  4. It’s so great that you guys now have food panda there. I’m sure they’ve helped a lot satisfying your food cravings during the quarantine and also providing jobs to the locals! Hooray!!

  5. I’ll share this to my relatives there. Not sure if abot Dapitan though. ? Pero I’m so happy there’s Food Panda already in Dipolog! ❤️ That also means more work opportunities for residents there and also businesses will strive despite the pandemic! ??

    • Unfortunately, wala pa sa Dapitan. Tinanong ko din kase yan eh 😀 But according to Foodpanda CDO, they will be branching out to Dapitan soon after successfully launching Foodpanda in Dipolog next month. Mas marami talaga food businesses na nag emerge ngayon dito sa ZaNorte during pandemic kaya buhay na buhay yung mga delivery services din dito 🙂

    • You’re welcome! Although I think may ibang easy ways yung Foodpanda for particular places on how to partner with them. But this post is also meant to inform others on how it works sa website nila 😀
